I have over 30 years’ experience in both Corporate and Personal Insolvency and Restructuring work including; Administrations, Creditors Voluntary and Compulsory Liquidations, Bankruptcy, Individual/Company Voluntary Arrangements and Law of Property Act 'LPA' Receiverships.  I also act in an advisory capacity to Boards of Directors guiding them through a difficult period and Creditors on any insolvency related issues.

I deal with Members Voluntary Liquidations (winding up of a solvent company) working closely with shareholders and their tax advisors who are looking to sell/retire to help them plan and extract their funds in the most tax efficient way.

I also specialise in assisting Executors and family members with Deceased Insolvent Estates looking at formal and informal solutions and has given number of presentations to Solicitors and STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) on this subject.

The majority of the time I work with SME's and understand the challenges of running a business myself so I am able to empathise with clients whilst working with them to find the best solutions to the issues they may be facing.

I am licensed by the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA) to act as an Insolvency Practitioner, which allows me to hold insolvency appointments in relation to companies, individuals and partnerships.

​

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and dog, getting out for walks in the country or by the sea or on a ski slope.
